The fluorocarbon resin has the lowest friction
coefficient of all the solids, and the static
friction coefficient of PTFE (polytetrafluor-
oethylene) is 0.04.
Because of its excellent gliding property, it is
used for powder sliding and sliding parts of
which the lubricant oil is not applicable. |
