Static Charge Prevention
The commonly used fluorocarbon resin has
a volume resistivity of 1016 Ħcm to 1018
Ħcm and is an excellent electrical insula-
tion material. It is regarded as a representa-
tive substance of high electrostatic charging
due to this electrical insulating property.
The electrostatic charging could pose pote-
ntial explosion and fire hazards under the
use conditions of organic solvent atmosp-
here. In addition, the Electro-Static Discharge
(ESD) hazards such as electrostatic powder
adhesion and separation charging, which
occurs when a substance is separated,
challenge many industries.
The anti-static fluorocarbon resin coating
we have developed, which has a leakage
resistivity of 104 Ħcm to 106 Ħcm, has
been adopted in many industries |
